Rummets standard var väldigt gammalt och slitet. Eluttag som inte fungerade om inte taklampan var på -inte så lätt att ladda mobilen på natten med taklampa tänd. Badrummet var gammalt och det läckte vatten från duschkabinen ut på ”parkett”-golvet i badrummet vilket lett till vattenskador som inte tagits om hand. Hela golvet var vobbligt och sprucket. Trasig lampa i badrummet som inte byttes fast vi sa till. Vi fick vända runt madrassen 180 grader för att sängen lutade neråt. Det kändes som man låg med huvudet i nedförsbacke. Inga frukostmöjligheter. Vi köpte färdiga mackor på mataffär i Oakhurst ca 20 minuter söderut.

Great location, nice character with historic fire truck on the property, great forest view from the balcony, lobby has a good choice of microwaveable food/drinks/desserts, close to train attraction.

restaurant was very good but only open one day for the stay.

Breakfast was $8.50 for a small microwave sandwich. We thought that was expensive.

It’s convenient how close I was to park entrance like everyone mentioned. Easy to get to Mariposa Groves as first hiking spot when arriving. Then just an hour drive the next day into Welcome Center for full day in the park!

Staff were so lovely!! It had hot water which we could use to make ramen, and a microwave in the lobby, would recommend people to go to Vons or the nearest supermarket and bring food as there is a fridge! To manage expectations the rooms are vintage but comfortable:) we had a balcony overlooking the forest and saw lots of beautiful birds
