This is a clean and cozy place to stay that was relatively affordable and a great location. The location is its greatest sell. Please note that there are no kitchen facilities and the owner is unable to accommodate any food or even milk in the event of check out prior to the breakfast time even though the breakfast is included in price. There is nowhere to store your luggage so you will be directed to store it at the information centre in town which cost £10. Please note the check-in time and check out time when booking because they are respectively quite late and quite early.

"Stay with the personal service you can only get in a privately run guest house."

The guesthouse is located on a quiet side street in the center of Windermere. You can sleep very peacefully with the window open. The room was basic, but everything you needed was there, it was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. The service from Jo was very friendly and attentive and the breakfast was very tasty.

The bathroom sink was very small.
