The Countryman Inn

Great location for us to explore Duddle Door, Jurrasic Coast and Beaches nearby. The room was big and spacious for the family of 4. Excellent Breakfast and friendly staff.

Comfortable beds, with clean crisp bedding. The room had everything we needed and was big and spacious. Although they were very understaffed, the women checking us in couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful. I was really impressed.

The over staff is warm and just lovely. We loved and should have booked for 3 day. The food is excellent

We were made very welcome when we arrived, including our dog, the room was clean, a very good size and comfortable for our 3 night stay As expected, in these circumstances and pleased about this, there was no daily housekeeping in the rooms. We put our bin outside our door which was emptied and a new bag put in it on our return. It would of been nice to have had tea/coffee supplies left outside the room each day rather than having to ask for more. This wasnt a problem but maybe a helpful thing to do

We stopped at the hotel the night before heading to Camp Bestival at Lulworth Castle, great location for exploring the coast around Lulworth & Durdle Door as only a short drive away. We had a family room (5) which was very spacious. The breakfast was tasty and had a good selection on the menu. Staff were very friendly.

The Countryman Inn is fantastic. The staff are all friendly and professional. The room was spacious and clean and although we were in a heat wave the beds were comfortable and a small fan was provided. The food was great and very reasonably priced. The breakfast was really good our kids had pancakes and we had eggs benedict (delicious and excellent portions). We travel to Dorset a few times every year and The Countryman Inn will definitely be our preferred hotel from now on. Thank you to Charlie and the rest of the staff - wish we had stayed longer.

We had a lovely stay here. Nice clean rooms, lovely food. It had on-site free parking and a nice pub garden. Staff were lovely and friendly and helped us with taxi numbers and info regarding visiting durdle door.
