Gallen-treath Guest House

I could not fault the place in any way. I had a sea view, clean room and perfect hosting. I wanted to leave early in the morning and I was made a delicious full English breakfast an hour before the breakfast room opened officially. Looking at going back there as soon as I can - What a hidden treasure! Thank you so much.

We found Gallen-treath as we were looking for accommodation near Kynance cove. We were so pleased with our find, as loved the place and its owners are wonderful. You really do feel like you are being welcomed as a friend, into their home - Nothing is too much trouble. The little details in the rooms and communal areas are lovely and the dining area is full of their memorabilia, all with a story behind it with many fascinating things to look at. Our room was cosy, comfortable and spotlessly clean, and the breakfast was delicious, with beautiful views. An absolute gem of a place. Thank you

All 3 of us loved it to the moon and back! I didn't expect vegan breakfast yet it was delivered and delicious. Guesthouse has soul clearly visible everywhere you turn. It's gem hidden in the small village, very quiet and lovely. I wish our stay could be longer. I highly recommend, perfectly clean, comfy beds and welcoming atmosphere. Thank you for wonderful time!

We had a wonder stay. It's quite inside from the town but it's all worth it. Perfect get-away from the crowd. The English Breakfast was the best i ever had. I would recommend this place to others. Thank you Alicia and Clive. :-)

Excellent views and friendly owners

Absolutely amazing. After several long days tackling the coast path this was a very welcome oasis. The owners are so friendly and helpful, they even offered to drive us to a pub in a nearby village as the local pub was full and we were on foot. Instead we opted for pizzas (bought in specially) and bottled beer. Beds were so comfortable and the place is really quiet. Excellent plentiful breakfast and a friendly farewell. Totally refreshed for another day on the trail. Couldn't ask for more. Will be back with the missus

Alicia and Clive were the nicest hosts we came across on our 5 days walking the SW coastal path - highly recommend staying here. They went above and beyond. And Clive's French Toast is excellent!

A really nice quaint and quirky property. Very homely feel, the hosts are lovely, very talented couple :) well travelled and entertaining duo :)
