East Cliff Cottage Hotel

We loved our Room No 3, with its pleasant views across the bay, seating area, great bathroom with roll-top bath and shower, and very comfortable beds. It was very clean and well serviced during our stay. Liked the fresh milk bottle for our teas/coffees. Breakfasts were bespoke and absolutely freshly made - fantastic! Very warm welcome from owners and we really enjoyed our stay. We would certainly recommend this place to stay as it is ideally located an easy walk into town or out onto the beach walks.

Going home

We arrived at the location to see a grubby looking building nothing like the photos ,a smashed window pane in the door ,then we go and check in to a man doing his ironing, as soon as we walked in we could smell something damp just horrible needs some air fresheners,our room had dirty curtains, the heated towel rail was tapped up with white tape a rusty shower holder ,sat for breakfast in the morning to a ripped and dirty tablecloth curtains not on the rails place was dirty, never again..

Location ,it’s 4 min walk to the sea ,lovely cosy Cottage,warm welcome staff,clean rooms,very fresh made breakfast and tasty, pure ground rost coffee,which other hotels don’t have and it’s a plus …free parking recommended to everyone for a lovely stay ..many thanks for having as ..👍

Although generally clean there were bits of grubbiness and tiredness in the decoration.

I would describe this property as quaint. It was wonderful to find somewhere where I could park the car for free. My room was delightful with a very comfortable bed, luxurious feeling bed linen and super soft towels. There were plenty of teabags and coffee and sugar with little packets of biscuits and a delightful little bottle of milk in the fridge, much nicer than those individual plastic pots. Plenty of hot water and a nice strong shower. Great to have a TV in the room and a hairdryer And the availability of an iron. I did not make use of the lounge which was available or have a breakfast. The location was nice and quiet with a very short walk to the seafront where you can walk for miles 😁 I totally recommend this property
