The hotel did not bother to reply to emails. I was unable to get my visa documents in time nor a transfer from the airport to the hotel.

the room was larger than your average hotel room and eclectically but tastefully decorated situated in a quiet street next to the river , yet close to all major sights the staff were very friendly and hospitable especially the concierge Natalia who was outstanding the housekeeping could be a bit hit and miss and perhaps some supervision required we had a wonderful stay

The decor was quirky and a bit kitsch, which I liked. All staff were extremely helpful and accommodating. It’s very clean and modern inside with quality furnishings and linens. The hotel is in a great location with lots of attractions within walking distance. In one direction it’s about a 15 minute walk to The Mariinsky Theatre and about 20 minutes walk to Nevsky Prospect and the Hermitage in the other direction. We only ate in the hotel a couple of times - the food was excellent and reasonably priced. We booked the hotels shuttle service from and to the airport. I would highly recommend- it was prompt, comfortable and extremely competitively priced.

Great location - very well appointed & renovated 5 star boutique hotel close to everything. Impeccable decor, very comfortable rooms, excellent & couteous staff, excellent breakfast and a concierge service which really works for you. I do not hesitate in recommending this property

"Fabulous stay"

Fabulous fabulous hotel Close to all the main sights Yes the colours of rooms are a little interesting but the room we had was huge! The bed was the best we slept in during our 6 week holiday around the world. The breakfast was amazing. Can’t fault a thing

It was very comfortable and well appointed. Very helpful staff. Good position for exploring the city. Excellent breakfasts. Not much natural light in the lower floors.
