The Historic Wapiti Lodge

We had a good meal the night before, and the staff was super friendly. The view to the mountains from the yard is beautiful, and it is very well located to drive into Yellowstone National Park.

The room was a semi "sunken" room under the main house, with unsightly utilities dashboards next to the door. So in a place with such a great, open view it was kind of dark and facing nowhere. It could have all been a little cleaner, too.

This was a cute place to stay for a night, not much around so definitely just a sleep and go, would drive the next 20 min to Cody for more choices. But a good bed and fairly decent bar food right there.

Very comfortable accomodation from all points of view: easily reachable, smoot check-in and check-out procedures, wonderful cabin style and equipment, very kind and professional staff. Definitely recommended!

Friendly owner with spacious rooms. Quiet and serene with outdoor areas and a restaurant. If you are in the area this is one of your best bets! We are already talking about a return trip.
