Slušná snídaně, včetně obsluhy. Decent breakfast, including service

Byli jsme, ubytováni v pokoji, který neodpovídal rezervaci (5982.648.828). V koupelně chyběl bidet, chyběla další toaleta. V pokoji chyběl psací stůl a ventilátor (ten byl dodán druhý den). Viz připojené fotografie. Provozovatel/majitel Francesco se nám v komunikaci prostřednictvím WhatsApp vysmál, viz připojený snímek obrazovky. Komunikaci stěžuje omezený provoz recepce. Obsluhuje ji při snídani člověk zajišťující právě snídaně a výběr plateb, jinak bez kompetence. Klíče se berou v trezoru před vstupem. Slabá úroveň toaletních potřeb, viz foto. Pokoj včetně koupelny se vyznačoval značnou zašlostí, panovala velká nedůvěra v udržování čistoty. Staticky narušená střecha krytého parkoviště, viz foto. Jednání provozovatele/majitele považujeme za naprosto nepřijatelné. Vše budeme řešit stížností na Booking. We were accommodated in a room that did not correspond to the reservation (5982.648.828). The bathroom was missing a bidet, another toilet was missing. The room was missing a desk and a fan (it was delivered the next day). See attached photos. The operator/owner Francesco laughed at us in communication via WhatsApp, see attached screenshot. Communication is hampered by the limited reception. It is manned at breakfast by a person who is responsible for breakfast and payment collection, otherwise without competence. Keys are collected from the safe in front of the entrance. Poor level of toiletries, see photo. The room including the bathroom was characterized by considerable wear and tear, there was great distrust in maintaining cleanliness. Statically damaged roof of the covered parking lot, see photo. We consider the actions of the operator/owner to be completely unacceptable. We will resolve everything with a complaint to Booking.

La Villa è molto bella, facilità di accesso e pulizia.

La villa è situata in una posizione strategica che ti permette di visitare gran parte del chianti. Struttura rustica ma ben tenuta. Personale gentile e molto cordiale ( mi hanno aiutato anche ad organizzare una piccola sorpresa per il compleanno del mio fidanzato). Piscina pulita e sempre disponibile che dona il giusto relax al soggiorno

Although dated it had been extremely well cared for and everything was clean and characterful. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They even arranged for a mechanic to come to our car when we had problems. Superb service. And just the road is a fantastic restaurant.

The villa has a pleasant old-world atmosphere and some authentic charm, even though parts of the property feel quite dated. One of the main advantages is the opportunity to stay in Castellina at a reasonable price compared with many other options in the area.

The property offers only basic amenities and the breakfast selection is rather limited, but this is understandable given the small size of the villa (but important to know to set expectations). Guests should also be aware that the layout may not be ideal for older visitors; especially those with mobility issues. Overall, it was a satisfactory stay and the value for money was acceptable, although not outstanding.

Villa Critina is located right on the Via Romea Sanesi which we were walking, so the location was perfect. We found the staff to be pleasant and very helpful, although we did not have the opportunity to meet with the proprietor. Breakfast was fine. The rooms were airy and comfortable, with all necessary facilities. Good value for money.

Nothing stands out as being in any way unsatisfactory.

La luce che entra nella stanza al mattino, nonostante le tende, è decisamente troppa.

Il giardino e l'edificio

Se sei uno dei sette nani la camera può andare anche bene, ma Biancaneve deve prenotare nell'hotel vicino. É facile desumere l'altezza del "reparto notte" guardando la foto, non più di 1,60m. L'immagine della conferma di prenotazione non corrisponde alla realtà. Il bidet, il phon e la zanzariera promessi erano assenti. La "vista" del cortile era da desumere dalle bocche di lupo. Il letto senza comodini, arredamento minimal trascurato, oscuranti che non oscurano e il bagno minuscolo col soffitto spiovente sopra il water, gli asciugamani (senza quello per il bidet) di due tipi e colori. La colazione definita internazionale consisteva in un piatto solo con qualche fetta di spalla, salame (forse) e fontina. Il cappuccino non è possibile perché "non hanno la pressione".
