Château du Maréchal de Saxe

We really enjoyed staying at Château du Maréchal de Saxe. If you're flying from Orly make sure you have plenty of time and a planned route to the airport in advance. We missed our flight because of 3 hours of traffic, and the airport is very close.

Une bonne impression mais il devrait préciser sur le site que les chambre ne sont équipées de télévision.

Dette er et fint hotell å bo på hvis du vil oppleve å bo på et slott. Ikke noe å klage på, men det kan ikke sammenlignes med service og standard på et 4 stjerners byhotell. Så er jo noe av poenget at det skal være gammel stil. Du bør ha bil hvis du skal bruke hotellet mer enn til 1 overnatting. Pass også på at du får rom i selve slottsbygningen og ikke sidebygningen. Litt dyrere, men egentlig eneste alternativ hvis du først vil bo der. Frokosten er ganske ordinær.

Le cadre est magnifique mais attention si vous devez prendre l'avion à Orly, c'est pas 30min qui il vous faudra mais 1h15...

Très agréables de dormir dans un château chargé d'histoire aux portes de Paris. Petit bémol le petit déjeuner un peu cher :16€ pour du jus d'orange en brique / café / pain et viennoiseries.

We spent the last night of our holiday in Paris before heading home to the UK and booked a room here. We felt very lucky to have stayed in such a beautifull historical French Chateau and we would stay there again if a suite was available. Had a lovely swim and stroll around the grounds. The only downsides were that the staff only spoke to us at check in/out and no restaurant details, offer of help or any hotel info was offered. My husband was very dissapointed with the self service breakfast we had and the lack of choice and again, no staff to assist in breakfast room.

Dit prachtig en authentic kasteel in een boogscheut van Parijs geeft innerlijke rust en tevredenheid aan mensen met gevoel voor waarde en charme. De persoonlijke benadering en behulpzaamheid is treffend. Ik zou dit hotel aan mijn vrienden en kennissen zeker aanraden.

Having just landed in Paris after a 19 hour flight from Australia we found the Chateau du Marechal de Saxe to be just the right distance to travel. We found the staff very helpful both during our stay and while trying to order in the restaurant. They were very patient with our lack of French and our dinner and breakfast the following morning were terrific. Extensive grounds to wander in and the pool and cross trainer were an added bonus.
