VeronAntica B&B

We only stayed in Verona one night, but the hostess was really nice when we showed up. We got to look at a few different rooms and decided on one with a balcony. We were within 100 meters of the arena and there were many shopping and dining options nearby. Our only thing was that we had trouble finding it because there was no big sign, but that was as much our issue with going the right way. Haha.

Stayed with my mum for a long weekend (for Mothers' day) in the twin room, with excellent service from the host and lovely room. Bathroom was cosy - perfectly appointed though. As two women sharing, could have done with a second mirror out in the room, so we didn't have to take it in turns to get ready. Breakfast was delicious - asked if we preferred sweet or savoury continental breakfast on arrival. Location of the B&B is very central, although in a quiet location, just off the Arena/Piazza Bra (where there was a beautiful market with flowers and local foods on sale). Easily walkable from the train station and to other sites around Verona. La Grigla restaurant (highly rated on tripadvisor) is just around the corner and we had a wonderful meal there too.

This is a friendly modern hotel in a very old building close to the arena. It can be difficult to find the first time so some instructions on the Internet would helpful as the street name is not even on some maps. We were able to walk every where from the hotel. The breakfast was very good. Our stay was very pleasant and comfortable.

The B&B was set in a very modern way. The room was clean, simply furnished, and had everything we needed. Breakfest was nice, prepared when we were ready. It included crosiants, cheese, coofee, tea, fruit and yogurt. Location was just ok for me. The only real negative we had was they were unable to hold our bags once we checked out until the time that we needed. We ended up storing them at the train station, so it worked out, but this was a minor inconvience.

This Bed and Breakfast was by far the best hotel we stayed at during our trip to Italy. We felt very welcomed from the moment we arrived. The room was very spacious and clean. The next morning we had a delicious breakfast that was a great start to the day. They let us leave our luggage there during the day as our train did not leave until later that afternoon. Would definitely recommend and stay there again!

This hotel is in a great location. Breakfast every morning was lovely. Found everyone very helpful when we needed to know the best places to eat and visit. Would definitely recommend this hotel to travelling couples. Room is actually large compared to others that we stayed at in Italy so we were very pleased and felt very comfortable

The VeronAntica B&B was a pleasant surprise. Newly renovated, clean & close to the Arena di Verona & many attractions. Very attentive service. Nice continental breakfast included. Quiet, safe location, approximately 10 or 15 minute walk from the train station. Would definitely go back.

Modern apartment in old building, lovely stone staircase but is on top floor with no lift so don,t take heavy luggage. Perfect location for whole city but especially the opera, arena is just around the corner. Quiet location. Staff very friendly and helpful.
