Hotel Santa Bàrbara

Very clean rooms and modern decor. The hotel is part of a project to transform an old mine into a museum and related facilities for visitors. So far it has been successful. The area is quiet and quite remote. Unfortunately the meal situation leaves a lot to be desired. We were there in late September. Meals were served in the former general store of the mine where the locals all sit at the bar drinking. Unless you specifically mention that you want to eat, nobody will ask you or give you a menu. We sat there with a beer for quite sometime and finally called the hotel contact who assured us that this was indeed the restaurant. Once we we’re served the food was adequate but certainly not much to speak of. Breakfast was in the same place with limited choices to be made as the waiter rattled them down in Catalan and Spanish. There is no English spoken. We were ok with that but without any knowledge of the local language, this would be a tough place to be.

A nice simple hotel in lovely location in mountains. There was some difficulty initially gaining access to hotel - just a note on door advising people to call owners- but this was quickly resolved. We couldn’t work out where to get any food in the evening but we were too tired after a long journey in any case. A simple breakfast is provided, This is a simple, family run hotel in a very rural location. The owners and staff are very obliging and friendly and do their best to make visitors feel welcome.

Bucólico hotel en un pueblo precioso y con un servicio genial

Fue una experiencia muy agradable, el hotel está en unas condiciones perfectas, muy limpio y el personal súper amable. También el desayuno estuvo muy bien y con un trato muy amable. Nos sentimos colo en familia.Gracias por un buen trabajo.

Ante todo hay que tener en cuenta que es un 2*. Pero esto no impide que sea perfecto para pasar un fin de semana de tranquilidad, paseo por la naturaleza, disfrutar de una buena comida y en general desconectar-que es lo que queríamos. Servicio excelente. Comodidad sueño muy bien, la cama es cómoda, seleccion de cojines, buena climatización, baño limpio y con todo lo que necesitas, si es cierto que se oyen los pasos de la gente por el pasillo, pero como es un hotel pequeño, y normalmente a partir de las 20h00 , hay poco o nada que hacer en Cercs savo cenar y disfrutar del paisaje, no hay casi ni ruido en el pueblo. Parking gratuito, hay una gran explanada. Cerca del restaurante, museo minero, bar- supermercado. Desayuno completo y muy bueno. Wifi bien en las habitaciones. Lo único que encontré a faltar fue algún enchufe en la mesita de noche. Hay enchufes en la habitación. Sin duda repetiremos!!!

Todo fue perfecto

Todo limpio, nuevo, decirado con gusto y amables. Al lado hay unas minas que vale la pena ver. Bonito enclave en una antigua colonia minera muy bien conservada y todavía habitada.

Un sitio tranquilo y acogedor, el personal muy amable.
