Fabulous, art-filled, quirky, friendly place to stay with lovely and very individual rooms, wonderful food, lots going on and a great vibe overall. The village is cool too. W had a wonderful time and will definitely go back.

It was in a great location, the staff were friendly and accommodating. Food was delicious and room was beautiful and very clean.

There is nothing negative I can say, we very much enjoyed our stay.

The atmisphere, the comfort of the room and the welcoming of the staff. The mattress in our room was absolutely amazing and I slept like a baby! We will definitely come back!

Lovely old pub with very well equipped and comfortable pod. Excellent breakfast. The shower was brilliant. Lots of character.

"Just a really memorable stay"

Everything about this place was fabulous! We were one of the rooms in the garden and I would definitely, if ever to come back here, request to stay there again. Everything about the room was just amazing the bed was super comfortable. We had a sofa our own private little patio with a wood burner which naturally we lit and then we found marshmallows and toasting forks in the bedroom! The food in the pub in the evening was excellent as was a breakfast the next morning. Would definitely say you have to book as we did! The garden was probably one of the best I’ve ever seen belonging to either a hotel or a pub. I recommended this place to all my friends.

The only downside to this place was Ticehurst itself. It was a nice village, but there wasn’t much to do there so it was definitely a destination pub.
