Ridley House - Key West Historic Inns

The location was amazing and the breakfast was very nice.

The bathroom was not very clean. Lots of mold in the shower and splatters on the wall by the toilet.

I feel like we stumbled across a hidden gem! The room was large, stunning and the AC amazing! Loved the history of the property. Loved the unexpected texts about mimosas, bloody marys or sangria and music by the pool! (not sure this is just a weekend thing) Breakfast every morning was poolside in a garden with fresh eggs on the stove being prepared in the lovely kitchen by the sweetest ladies. Location was awesome, close to Duval street, the square and the ferry landing but off on a side street that was quiet. (Island is totally walkable) Bliss the attendant at the desk was so personable and helpful from arranging bikes if needed or pre arranging a taxi to the airport.

Just to be aware that if you aren't on the ground floor there are many steep stairs and no elevator. This could be a challenge for those with mobility issues or heavy luggage. Approximately 20 stairs for each level. This beautiful property is a little pricey but well worth in indulgence.

We loved the staff, the grounds, our room and our porch, the wonderful breakfast and especially the location!!

Of course it is a historic inn, so some things are a little bit older and the pool is small, but we found it was fabulous.

Size of the room, comfy bed/sofa, loved the flooring and the smell.

Unfortunately, I did not like the bathtub with the plastic curtain. Additionally, one of the bathroom fixtures was very loose, and the bathtub was not clean, as there were hairs in it. Water next to bed cost 5 dollar extra, wasn’t expecting that for 600 dollars a night.
