This hotel is only suitable for a one-night stay when you are tired. The breakfast is very meager—it consists solely of cornflakes and bread with butter. The coffee is like water; it doesn't even taste like coffee. Furthermore, the juice container was not clean.

The bathroom was not great at all... no exhaust fan?? The shower curtain rod was reattached outside the actual tub/surround so the cloth shower curtain allowed lots of water to escape during the shower which saturated the floor. No hair dryer, one set of towels for 2 nights, except there was only one hand towel, had to request additional pillows and then went to Walmart and bought a blanket after the first night because a thin sheet and worn blanket was not adequate to provide comfort. Never found the ice maker, but likely wouldn't have used it anyway bc everything in the facility was old and in need of an update. For $75/night it was passable bc it was budget friendly, but repairs should be done sensibly and not avoid aesthetics though.

Rooms were dirty and didn’t seem the best maintained. I requested a non-smoking room, however my couch had a cigarette burn and the floors were tinted yellow.

Everything, compared to the last time we stayed here 3 years ago. Back then the place should neve been condemned and torn down. But new owners took it over shortly after that stay 3 years ago. Everything the new owners did was great. They upgraded the beds, the furniture, the walls, the floors, the office lobby, the entire outside of the buildings. The place was spotless. No dust anywhere. We had two rooms this time and I went over both of them with an eagle eye. I ran my hands over the tops of everything in both rooms looking for dust, there was none to be found anywhere in either of the rooms. The bathroom vents were spotless with no dust at all on, or in them. The air / heating unit ran perfectly. The lighting in the rooms was exceptional. The office, lobby and breakfast area were very clean and bright. I'm am very pleased to leave this excellent review. I highly recommend staying here as a stopping point in your trip. They allow pets for a small fee, $15. But it was worth it.

There was not much for us to dislike. The bathroom is outdated with the original tub, and tile flooring. But they were clean. The water pressure in the shower was great. I understand bit swapping them out as it would have cost tens of thousands of dollars to do that. The breakfast was waffles or cold cereal I think. Which is OK.

We liked the spacious room and good shower. The room had a nice comfortable chair.

The breakfast was all bread and 1 fruit. No protein to be found.
