Tennyson House Hotel

Staff were friendly and helpful at all times and the meals were well prepared, and service good. The overall decor however was pretty well dated and generally lacked taste. The front bedroom was colder than the rest of the building and items like the remote control which didn't work had to be changed. The bathroom mirror light also didn't work. Apart from these minor irritations the hotel was clean and value for money.

Very nice hotel, clean and tidy, ample parking facilities and a very nice full English breakfast. Would certainly visit again.

I stayed here six nights while I have been looking for a place to live in Bedford. In two different rooms. The staff are amazing. They are so friendly and helpful. The hotel its self is cozy and clean. I think the building is beautiful.

Staff very friendly, breakfast lovely. Room clean, but needs tlc/updating/decorating

unfortunately we turned up to check in 6 minutes early and found the staff friendly but a little stressed who explained in no uncertain terms that check in should be at 1400. perhaps that's why i started noticing things like a stain on the blankets and skipped breakfast the next morning when it seemed over crowded. sorry but that's how it seemed. there's an awful lot of rooms crammed into this small Hotel.

Comfortable room, perfectly acceptable as a low-cost overnight stay. Clean and comfortable room if you don't insist on 5* facilities, good breakfast if a little early.

Lovely small hotel. Staff friendly and helpful. Rooms clean and comfortable. Good choice for breakfast freshly cooked to order. Catered well for vegetarians. Would stay here again.

Really lovely staff. Nice welcome and were around if you needed anything. Breakfast was served fast and really nice.
