Godt og billigt hotel tæt på by og marked.
Close to the Khao Lak action, Motive Cottage is on the "highway" through town, across the road from the "Main Street" where many shops and restaurants are to be found. So while there is highway noise (nicely masked by the pool's waterfall), you don't get the noise of the massed crowds that likely run from dusk to dawn - but the location is perfect, because you can easily head over the road if that's your thing too! Motive's room are generously sized, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious - a much fuller fare then I expected for the price. The staff were friendly and helpful. All in all, Motive gave us fantastic value for money. Of the 5 places we stayed in the Khao Lak area, my teenage daughter is recommending Motive to her friends as a place they could all stay on their SE Asia tour - affordable, safe, clean, close to the action with a great breakfast.
Hotel heeft taxivervoer van de airport geregeld. De locatie was goed met veel restaurants op loopafstand. Fijn zwembad met ligbedden in de schaduw. Vriendelijk personeel en dagelijkse schoonmaak.
Familjär stämning på hotellet. Tjejerna i restaurangen frågade varje morgon vilken frukost dom skulle laga. Fick ha kvar rummet till kl14 utan extra kostnad. Dom ordnade taxi till Phuket Flygplats för endast 1300 baht.
Wir waren sehr zufrieden, die Lage ist schön zentral. Etwas laut anfangs, man gewöhnt sich aber schnell daran. Frühstück war ok, ist eben in Thailand etwas anders als in Deutschland. Die Besitzer sind sehr nett und der Pool schön zum schwimmen. Insgesamt toller Aufenthalt. Moped bei BEE nebenan mieten, hat Top geklappt, super Mopeds! Wir würden wieder kommen!!

helt underbar vistelse!! Var på detta hotellet i 2 veckor! Trevlig och tillmötesgående personal. Rent och snyggt! Fräscha och stora rum. Fantastiskt bra pris!! En oas mitt i byn?! Bra frukost! Kommer mer än gärna tillbaka och bor här! 15 min promenad till stranden.

My husband and I wanted a hotel in Khao Lak that wouldn't break the bank and we decided to go with Motive Cottage. It is about a 15 minute walk to the beach (depending how fast or slow you walk) but it is an easy stroll down a road with lots of restaurants and bars. The only problem was there wasn't great beach access, so we ended up having to walk through another resort to actually get to the beach. The room was very comfortable and clean and we had to complaints. The breakfast was also great; you had eggs to order with breakfast meats, toast, fruit, and coffee tea, ect. Overall very comfortable room.
Nice place to relax. Quiet and comfort place to stay.
