Cabana Trei Brazi

High up a mountain. Rooms sizes. We had the best option on high floor. We had a lovely large space with lounge and a dinning table. Nice large bath and shower. Water boiling hot. Heating was spot on. View from balcony.

No lift. The road to the property is very bad the last 200 meters. Only a few tv channels. Internet not great

The rooms are extremely old and bad It was cold and smelly

The property is easily accessible by car. During our stay there were always parking spots available. The view from the room and from the restaurant was perfect. The area is very quiet during the day, as well as during the night. The furniture is a bit old, but both our rooms were clean and cosy. The balcony offers a beautiful view of the mountains. The restaurant had a wide variety of Romanian dishes. We had dessert on our first night there and breakfast the next morning. The food was good, but not spectacular. The property is very close to many hiking routes, but you have to keep an eye open for bears.

The shower cabin was very, very small and it was really hard to stand up straight and shower. The personnel was sometimes hard to find. Most of the time there was no one at the reception. There was just a phone number displayed. When we called it, someone came. On the next day, we went down stairs to the restaurant to have breakfast. We waited for a while, but no one came in the restaurant, although we heard voices coming from the kitchen. We had to knock on the door of the kitchen area and ask if someone can take our order. Regarding breakfast, I would like to make a suggestion: please write on Booking that breakfast can be served a la carte in the restaurant. When I made the reservation, I read that breakfast isn't included in the price of the room, but I wasn't sure, if the restaurant served it a la carte by paying an additional fee. And at some point on Booking is mentioned that there is no breakfast option available at all, so it's a bit confusing.

When you say Cabana 3 Brazi, it's always about the view, the location. We had a clean, comfortable room with a front view. Good food, but better at Cabana 3 Brazi Veche, just nearby.

When on vacation, you close your eyes to little things that don't disturb you directly (like the old room door or the brownish wall), but the towels, the pillows and the sheets were smelling like a very old cloth forgotten in the drawer.
