Hotel Royal

Najbardziej podobały mi się bardzo wygodne łóżka oraz znakomite, wysokiej jakości śniadania. Dużym atutem była również lokalizacja – wszędzie było blisko: do rynku, katedry i kościoła, a dworzec znajdował się zaledwie 1 km od hotelu.

Fajne duże łóżka, przestronna wanna, winda na plus, wszędzie blisko, możliwość przyjazdu z psem.

Niestety mamy w zwyczaju na koniec wyjazdu ściągać poszewki z kołdry, poduszek…. Po ściągnięciu ukazała nam się obszczana po poprzednich gościach kołdra, obrzydliwe. Dodatkowo skoro płacę 50 zł za dobę dla psa to wypadałoby chociaż przygotować jakieś miseczki, chociażby na wodę ;)

Super lokalizacja przy samym rynku. Pokój bardzo komfortowy.

Jedyny minus to brak gniazdek w pokoju, były tylko dwie listwy.

The staff were friendly upon arrival and very efficient to allocate the room and explain the facilities on offer, alongside the on-site restaurant and Spa. The room was beautifully decorated and the bathroom was especially tastefully decorated. The carpets and tiles floors were very clean and I felt comfortable to walk around barefoot (pet hate if flooring is grubby). The tv was a good size alongside a 2 seater sofa and armchair. The room was bright and airy. The A C was very quiet and again efficient. The bed was queen size and soooooo comfortable, best sleep I've had in forever! The hotel is close to the town square which is the hub of the town with a good selection of bars and restaurants. Food and drinks very reasonable, no harassment from waiting staff. There is a good vibe and everyone is very friendly. Lots of little fruit and veg stalls on street corners and the streets are litter free and so clean. The local children were out at times looking to recycle plastic bottles and were well behaved. No yobbish or rude behaviour and all wore helmets when riding on their scooters. It was very safe to walk around at night and taxis were also very cheap. Loads of little bars and restaurants down the winding side streets if you don't want to be in the square. We visited the local church and cathedral and little castle with a Mammoth skeleton on show. We also went to the municipal palm house set in a local park which was well kept and again no litter. A trip to a model village on a new retail park which was amazing, the detail was so good that you had to look carefully so you didn't miss the little jokes hidden in the scenery. We also visited a Harry Potter theme cafe. Such fun as this was hidden off the main road but cleverly put together. Menu was more suited to vegetarian/vegan. However the potion drinks were fun with the bubbling and smoking when they arrived. You could also dress up as wizards and witches!

Surprisingly there are no real negative comments. Perhaps a larger selection of tea and coffee in the room instead of 1 sachet of coffee and 1 teabag. Bottled water is renewed daily. We had such a lovely time and were not disappointed with our trip.

Polecam

As a positive note, it's located 1 minute away from the city center and restaurants. The room was much bigger than the majority of the hotels nowadays. Kettle and tea was also a plus.

The hotel has certainly seen its best days. According to the information displayed on the walls, the last renovation took place many years ago, and the property is now well overdue for a refreshment. The mattress is badly sagging and completely worn out, which made it very uncomfortable to sleep on.

Lokalizacja wręcz idealna. Pokój ładnie i schludnie urządzony, czysty, zadbany. Personel bardzo miły i pomocny!
