The host, Francesca, is very friendly, she enabled us to accommodate earlier, gave us useful tips for our trip and prepared little snacks for breakfast, as well as very good wine. The accommodation in the old building with original ceiling and walls has an atmosphere and we also loved our little balcony with a view. The road to the town is very narrow and curvy, but it was worth driving here.

We were satisfied with everything. Just one thing: we saw wild pigs near the parking place, so be aware of them, when you go up to the accommodation.

The apartment was great, located in a historic complex, in a very nice and secluded area in the mountains close to La Spezia (15 minutes drive to the train station, we parked there and went to the Cinqueterre villages easily) They have a nice courtyard with mountain views perfect for having coffee on the sun or sipping wine after returning There are a lot of trails around for hiking Parking was easy, they have their own lot Our Host, Francesca, was great, in constant contact over WhatsApp, she was very charming and on top of everything She left a basket full of Italian treats for breakfast

I travel a lot and it was the best apartment booked ever! Amazing surroundings, clean and comfy rooms, touch of the history, nice hike to Cinque Terre directly from the place. And the host Francesca is the nicest person EVER ❤️ She told us the story of Caste, gave all the tips regarding visiting the area and even recommended and booked the local restaurant for us. Thank you! 😊

The small details: basket with breakfast, kitchen tools, easter chocolate eggs, the view , the stones walls...

Rain, rain, rain didn't allow us to enjoy the walks ... bring small baggage because there is a walk to the apartment .

You might feel a bit nervous when you start the ascend on to Caste, but once you meet Francesca and her beautiful place all your fears go away. Clean, cozy, authentic feeling. Francesca is passionate about her activity and goes the extra mile to provide all the needed informations and tips. Would recommend 100%!

It is in a quiet and a nice area. And the room is simple and clean.

Nothing much really. Objectively it suits our needs for that two nights.

Nice quite location high up and away from any town. Nice cozy and clean apartment. Tastefully renovated. Could hike to the sea. Public transport getting back was feasible (only had to walk 1 KM from bus stop). Even had live music on our first night. Host offered us lots of good info on activities and restaurants.
