La Casona de la Ronda Boutique Hotel

This hotel was amazing all except for the bed. It was not very comfy, and the pillows were cheap. Since sleeping well is the main point of a hotel, I’m not sure I would stay here again despite my 5 star rating. The service, staff, location, and amenities were all amazing.

This Hotel really is a hidden Gem. They done a nice job of creating an oasis inside for their guests. Their restaurant was really good as well.

Lovely old building renovated very nicely - it has a lovely atmosphere and some beautiful views from the upstairs mirador. The room was very comfortable. The staff were very helpful. Both breakfast and dinner were excellent. Would definitely stay again.

The hotel is beautiful and clean. The courtyard with plants is bright and cheerful. My room was comfortable and I really liked the wood carving decor. It added to the Spanish colonial vibe. The area the hotel is in is excellent, right in the the historic center. Very walkable to shopping, restaurants, and sites. On the weekend there are nearby bars that can be loud, but with the fan, I couldn't hear the noise. The staff is friendly and attentive. At check out they asked for payment for the room, even though I pre-paid through Expedia. When I confirmed my Expedia reciept and showed them, they apologized and canceled the transaction on my credit card. I wonder if I didn't say anything would I have paid twice?

Excellent service and extraordinary stay

Hotel is unique in design and quite lovely. Very clean crisp linens and rooms, excellent service and breakfast. Highly recommend!

Loved the place! Super cool hotel, better than 3 stars

This hotel, in the historic area of Quito, is a beautiful and week run hotel. The employees are attentive, helpful and most speak English as well as Spanish. There is a lovely shop attached to the hotel for gifts & treasures. Also, a fun “chocolate” sampling and history is presented each evening. The food is terrific, both morning and evening. Our only complaint is about the pillows … too hard. Oh, and earplugs are provided as occasional outside revelry can disrupt sleep. Use them:)
