The Birch Hotel

Comfortable bed. Great shower.

Receptionist training their colleague. Not very nice tone towards them. A bit of dirt left on carpet.

Room was clean with comfortanle beds and good bathroom.

Air con did not work, although a fan was provided. Breakfast was OK but uninspiring.

No butter at breakfast. Irish coffee a disaster and barely lukewarm!

We experienced loud noises from above our room around midnight, but there is no room above. Hotel management apologised but had no idea the source of the problem. They really need to try harder.

The hotel is great, very vintage and comforting. Staff on arrival were good and able to show me the way to my room easily. The room was of a good size and the bathroom was very clean. Nice and quiet sleep in a comfortable bed. The hotel has a good sized car park. Waffles with bacon and a good hot menu for breakfast was appreciated.

At breakfast they have continental breakfast and hot, I didn't receive a menu for hot breakfast and almost left thinking that continental was all that was available. I suspect it was assumed I had stayed before which I hadn't

The room was spotlessly clean, larger than I expected and well supplied with tea and coffee. All the staff were polite helpful and attentive.

Bar food was adequate. I would have appreciated more healthy options

Location

Very very small room which should not be sold as a double and charged at a higher rate than another family member who had a larger more up to date room for a lot less!

Frühstück war gut und frisch zubereitet. Bequeme Betten, kostenlose Parkplätze.

Ein wenig abgelegen und die Ausfahrt benötigt viel Aufmerksamkeit.
