Marigianna Apartments

Our first visit to to Crete and the Marigianna Apartments, What a find. From the minute you walk through into the Garden you’re made to feel so welcome. While the rooms are basic they are spotless and all you need. The pool and bar area is superb. The atmosphere is so chilled , no hunting for sun beds no rushing around, just perfect. The way the family and staff look out for you is second to none. They’re a small team who work so hard. I could write about how good this place makes you feel for ages, but in summary we’ve stayed in some very expensive hotels and not had that feeling that staying here brings. Manos is a real superstar who never stops. Skye works tirelessly with a smile and finally ‘ Billy’ the perfect host, so sorry we missed you at the end, Chester never got a final hug so we’re coming back, it’s all booked and we can’t wait.

What a welcome from Manos .He couldn’t have made us feel more at home . Apartment was spotless with ample self catering facilities. The whole place is kept beautifully clean and the gardens and amazing pool area are wonderful. Billy and Sky were so helpful and friendly too ! Fantastic place for families and couples. Some great restaurants near by and a beautiful harbour . Sissi is a little gem . We will be returning as soon as possible .. thank you for the best holiday !

What a little gem of a place . It is a perfect place for a wonderful holiday in Sissi. The place is spotless and well equipped. Manos, his family and staff work so hard to meet everyone's expectation. The location is perfect - a short stroll to the harbour, with supermarket, tavernas and bars near by. We had breakfast most days which are well cooked really couldn't see the point of making anything ourselves. highly recommend and would book again

Great family run Hotel in the heart of Sissi. Really nice outside pool and pool bar. We were looked after from.the minute we arrived and nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely return.

Property is super clean. Accommodation is very basic but to be expected in Greece. Very close to local amenities, food was average. Close to local amenities, nice pool, lovely bar area. Family run accommodation with friendly staff. Surprised to be charged for air con as looked like it was included in the price - so best to double check as it was expensive at 30 euros per unit for a 5 night stay.

Al di sotto delle aspettative, monolocale decoroso ma cucina non accessoriata, bagno minuscolo doccia con tenda e senza bidet. A differenza dei costi preventivati ( solo tassa di soggiorno) al momento della prenotazione il proprietario ha preteso 6€ al giorno x l’a/c tra l’altro malfunzionante, anche x la cassetta di sicurezza voleva 10 € a settimana, inoltre Manos il proprietario affermava che expedia lo aveva danneggiato. Ho provato solo la colazione preval.te a base di uova, salsiccie ecc. assente buffet a scelta. Avevo chiesto una camera silenziosa mi hanno dato un monolocale al p1 dove arrivavano tutti gli schiamazzi notturni di inglese e tedeschi che trascorrevano le loro giornate in piscina a bere birra. Nonostante il proprietario e la figlia si sforzino di essere amichevoli con tutti SCONSIGLIO la struttura soprattutto x soggiorni lunghi.

Excellent apartments run by the lovely Manos, his son Billy and daughter Yianni. This is not our first stay here and it definitely will not be the last. Met up with lots of friends who had also stayed on numerous occasions. The pool, outside bar and grounds are brilliant. Anyone who hasn't been before should definitely give it a try!
