Hotel Le Pelican

We stayed at the hotel for two nights as it was ideally located at the halfway point of our trip to France and back home. The location is great; we could walk to the city center in 10 mins from the hotel. First of all, the receptionist was very welcoming and attentive. Questions we asked via the Booking.com app were also promptly answered. The rooms were spacious enough and clean, and we also really enjoyed the breakfast, which we found of good value at €10 per person. Being able to park our car overnight for €6 in a secured parking lot at the hotel itself was also really nice. All in all, we found everything to be really good value for money.

We stayed in two rooms facing the street and you could hear some of the noises from outside, although that did die down later in the evening. The entryway to the parking lot is indeed quite narrow. We took the left most lane when driving up to the entryway and then took a wide turn right, crossing the right lane, and then heading straight into the entrance of the parking lot.

Juste un petit point de vigilance sur le bruit, comme l'hotel est en plein centre on entend pas mal le bruit des voitures. Pour nous ça n'a pas été du tout gênant mais pour les personnes sensibles au bruit autant être averties.

Het ontbijt is voor franse begrippen en gezien de prijsstelling opvallend uitgebreid. Er is niet altijd iemand van het hotel aanwezig maar je kunt er wel in en de service is toch goed te noemen.

De parking is slecht toegankelijk omdat je een hele scherpe bocht moet nemen want de ingang ligt schuin en is heel erg smal. Je kunt het beste proberen om tegen de rijrichting in naar binnen te gaan. Er is echter heel veel parkeerruimte binnen, dus plek is er eigenlijk altijd wel.

Zelden zo’n goed hotel gehad in deze prijsklasse. Echt een aanrader. Een parkeergarage voor auto, motor of fiets aanwezig. Uitstekend ontbijt ook. Lokatie ook perfect!
