Central yet quiet location. Nice breakfast and dinner room (with sloping ceiling and view over the old town). Relatively varied breakfast buffet by Bolivian standards. Dinner was good (but not exceptionally creative or good). The bed was good. The shower was okay. The view from the room window (on the 3rd floor) over the old town and the mountains was beautiful. Beautiful, green courtyard and lovely outdoor terrace (for afternoon tea, for example) with a fireplace. One of the two receptionists was very dedicated and good.

The building looked in need of renovation in many places, somewhat "past its prime", so to speak. One of the receptionists seemed very unsuitable to us. Just one example: he didn't understand that we were asking for some more drinking water (there were only two 0.2 litre bottles in the room. You should drink more, especially at high altitudes). When we asked for some more drinking water, he replied (repeatedly on two days) that we already had two bottles in the room and that there was no more available per person. When we objected that we would of course pay for it, he said we should go out and buy water ourselves. When we objected again that the shops were closed, he simply said "that's right" and did not pursue the matter further. We then sought out the second (very helpful) receptionist, whom we found in the closed restaurant. He arranged for the first receptionist to bring us more drinking water... For a 4-star hotel, a somewhat peculiar job posting...

El trato del personal, lo bonito que era el hotel y lo bien cuidado que está el jardín.

Podría más toallas para la cara en la habitación y algún rollo de papel higiénico extra.

Dieses Hotel hat unseren Aufenthalt in Sucre sehr besonders gemacht. Das Hotel bietet alles, was man sich wünscht. Insbesondere durch den ruhigen Innenhof wird eine kleine Oase im Zentrum von Sucre geschaffen. Es gibt so viele süße Sitzgelegenheiten zum Zurückziehen. Die Lage ist super - man ist innerhalb weniger Gehminuten mitten im Zentrum. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber und das Personal sehr zuvorkommend. Für uns das mit Abstand beste Hotel während unserer Reise durch Paraguay, Bolivien und Peru. Wir würden das Hotel immer wieder buchen!

Bel endroit type colonial, la vue au petit-déjeuner et depuis le toit sur Sucre très au calme. Chambre spacieuse et confortable. Très bon petit déjeuner.
