air con very loud, contactless check in was a problem and realisation that door had been left unlocked after returning. no clear instructions on using the keyless locking system

What a wonderful discovery! Very unique motel. Eclectic mix of decor but it makes it very charming. I love that it doesn't look like every other motel you come across on your travels. Very clean, large rooms that have screen doors and chairs outside on the porch. LOVE that. It gives it a very homey feel. Bed was really comfortable too. We pass through Wyoming every couple years and this will be our stopping point now.

We stayed here while attending a family reunion and could not have been happier with our accommodations. We rented two rooms, each had a cute Wyoming theme - we were in the Longmire Room and our kids in the National Parks Room. Both were immaculately clean and incredibly comfortable, with fast wifi, mini fridges, and great water pressure in the bathrooms. Happy to support this family-owned gem of a motel any time we are in town!

Did not receive the room that we ordered....even though it appeared we were the only people staying. The "office" was no longer an office, but a personal residence. The room was very clean....and right out of the 1960's travel motel dictionary. Lemon yellow bathroom tiles and sink. 1970's shag lamp and small square tile roof. So beyond out dated I am not sure how to explain. No office and no contact. Finally texted to the number on my hotels.com email to find a "person". Told them of our disappointment in the room....and was told that the room was more expensive/an upgrade on what we ordered.....seriously...??? The picture of the hotel and of the rooms are not accurate...in my humble opinion. Rooms next door are 1/2 the price and similar in size and layout...and there is a "real" person to talk to. I would warn people not to stay here until there is new ownership or management.
