Chalet Queenstown

A very nice reception in arrival. The manager is friendly and helpful. Although the room was small it had all that you needed. Good heating, bedding, linen and clean. I am always sceptical of photos versus what you get so it was a nice suprise to see that they weren't misleading.

If you have to be critical the room is small but that was not really a problem

Bed was really comfy, nice shower. Tea, biscuits and coffee very well stocked in the room

The extractor fan didn't work in the bathroom and the room was very cold when we entered (no radiators had been put on)

View from room excellent. Host was great and very helpful.

Room very small. Not sure why they put a king sized bed in a small room? Despite this heating was only just satisfactory. Water pressure in shower was weak. No soap dispensers in shower recess. Only one chair for two people.

Great location and views! Easy walk to town and great for the tour to milford bus stop (counts when you're up early). Harry was a phenomenal host, ensured we had everything we could want or need including an exemplary breakfast.

Only shortcoming was that it was tricky to get the shower the right temperature

The staff were really kind, friendly, welcoming people. They could not have done more to make the stay enjoyable - thank you!

Harry was awesome. Couldn't be more helpful. Late check in was easy. Comfortable bed.

Communal verandah, no privacy, no view of lake from my room/side of building.

Location is near city center. You can walk around 800 meters. Host was so great! Bed was comfy. You can find milk and bottles of water in the fridge on 2nd floor
