For the budget traveler it's idyllic. Friendly staff and beautiful location. Nice atmosphere and handy to plantation island.

Really enjoyed my stay at Funky Fish, great staff and fantastic service! Staff is very friendly and accommodates all activities you plan for the day, just let them know what time you would like to leave and they will take you to nearby surf breaks such as cloud break or a sandbank not far which is great for snorkelling or launching your kite. Stayed in a double room, which was basic but clean. Don't expect too much from the shared bathroom facilities (could be cleaner and only one warm water shower), if budget allows I would definitely recommend booking one of the beachfront bungalows, which have their own bathroom. They offer a meal plan (FJD$99/day), which is plenty (breakfast, 2 course lunch, 3 course dinner), however, I was more than happy to just order off the menu and saved some money that way. Good Wifi, too, for those of you who care. Overall, great location if your main priority is watersports and you're on a budget. Would stay there again :)

We were guests for 6 nights and had the most fantastic time. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The setting was magic and the surf was good and easy to get to with the boys and their boat .A reL lay- back family feel - highly recommend

We had a different expectation of what we thought we were getting. There was literally no beach to enjoy and the water recedes during the day, thus you need water shoes to even get to the water. Unable to walk anywhere as there is tons of constrictions around the island. For the price we paid it was definielty not worth it. Food was hit and miss. Also forgot my order a couple times. We were not told all the details of our meal plan upon arrival. Need to leave the island to make the most of our stay.
