The staff was very friendly, Veronika the receptionist helped us a lot with good restaurant recommendations and reservations. The area is nice and amazing although pricier then the rest of Montenegro. Old town Kotor is beautiful but an absolute tourist trap with ditto service and pricing asost tourist come from large cruise ships. Hard recommendation to not go for food there. Anyway the hotel is small nice very comfortable and well equipped The private pier is nice as well with beanie bags you can sit on and relax as well that they have bikes and surf boards

"A very nice hotel for a 4-night stay near Kotor old town (fortress) - highly recommended"

9.0

We chose the Palazzo Radomiri Heritage Boutique Hotel due to its location within walking distance (4kms) of the Kotor Venetian Fortress, but far enough to be away from the 'crowds' at Kotor itself, plus the promise of luxury in what was now a boutique hotel converted from a Venetian 17th Century Palace. The hotel is situated between the main road around the Bay of Kotor and a promenade walk along the Bay side. Across the promenade walk the hotel has its own stone pier with table seating and reclining sunbeds (with sun umbrellas). Boats can collect or deliver guests direct to the pier. The water in the Bay of Kotor is clear, warm and very inviting for a swim. If walking into Kotor old town we recommend you use the promenade walk - a one-hour pleasant stroll. We had originally booked a twin attic room, but a massive unexpected electric storm with very heavy rain in the early hours of our first night resulted in one of the skylights being overwhelmed and partly flooding our room. We went to reception (opens at 08:00 hrs) to advise them of the problem and they said go to breakfast whilst we sort out a new room for you - after breakfast we found that we had been moved to the "best" room in the hotel and our bags were already in our new room. To say we had the "best" room in the hotel was an understatement - we had been moved to what was the originally the 'premier' room of the old palace, being massive in size, was immaculately furnished and was the only hotel room with its own secluded balcony (having 2 wicker chairs and a round table) for ultimate privacy. Having to move to a new room was a very minor inconvenience considering the standard of our new room - well done, Palazzo Radomiri - brilliant result!!! Breakfast is served in the garden (weather permitting - otherwise indoors) and there were 4 choices of breakfast available.

Not a fault of the hotel but rather a cautionary note: There are TWO "Palazzo" Boutique hotels at Kotor exactly 200 metres from each other - the other was the "Boutique Hotel R Palazzo" which is slightly closer to the old town - it is easy to confuse them on first arriving (as we did!). The 4 choices of breakfast menu were a little limited - we would have appreciated a slightly wider range of choices from a boutique hotel of this standard.

"Perfect location and vibe for a relaxed sojourn near Kotor"

8.0

The breakfasts were excellent; the jetty and proximity to the sea for an early morning dip were simply wonderful. It was quiet, calm, friendly, relaxing and elegant. Lots of stairs (naturally - on the side of a hill down to the sea!) so for the more agile. A good walk to the Old Town of Kotor - so it is more relaxed/not run over by cruise passengers. Loads of lovely places (like the terrace or the hammock in the garden) to relax and read. The staff were all lovely and friendly and could not have been more helpful.

A few small details make it less than a 5* review: tea bags but no coffee or milk or bottled water; our shower didn’t drain away well so the wet room got rather wet; the yoga required payment and there were no kayaks (which we didn’t mind in each case but the listing said differently).

"Incredibly rewarding stay"

9.0

The grounds and property are beautiful. Our room had a small balcony with incredible views of the bay. Sunsets are unforgettable. The staff is incredibly nice, knowledgeable and accommodating. Dinner at the restaurant is delicious and better than nearby options. The lido / beach is so convenient and well organized, and there is nothing more reinvigorating than a jump in the beautiful water surrounded by breathtakjng scenery.

The breakfast could be better. The service is great and very friendly. However, the choices are limited and, for the price paid, I have had much better breakfasts in other hotels of the same caliber.
