Umthunzi Hotel and Conference

The room was clean. Reception staff was welcoming and whole staff was nice.

Tv had bad picture with very few channels, not even one channel showed soccer world cup games since it's world cup season. Lot of disturbing noisy things at night. Air-conditioning did not heat up in the room. Breakfast was not nice. Parking is not user friendly. None visible security on site since the gate was always open.

The steps to the rooms.And they put me to the second floor.Next time please check if a person is an n elderly like me and give her the room in the first floor.As it now my knee is very sore

Location was perfect, our rooms had the ocean view. Their breakfast was amazing.

We stayed at the hotel to enjoy the Northside Wine Festival - the location was fantastic, the rooms were lovely, beds comfortable and the breakfast delicious.

There is a bar fridge in the room that is very noisy - it ticks, crackles and buzzes all night long. There is some or other pump system connected to the water so anytime you open a tap there is a loud whirring/whining noise. This can be heard from adjacent rooms if they use their water as well. Lastly, and this is not necessarily the hotels fault, but the noise from the other guests was insane! The screaming, yelling, banging of doors, top of their voices talking, laughing, etc THROUGHOUT THE NIGHT was unreal. I think it only got "quiet" (enough to fall asleep for more than a couple minutes) at around 5am. It was honestly one of the worst nights I have ever spent in any establishment.

It was clean and easily accessible.

The noise on the 30th, the night before was serene and quiet.
