Bad customer service, the room smells like mildew

Room was clean and worked well for a short stay. The property is centrally located with good access to major roads and highways. Staff is kind and helpful.

Billing an extra $100 for "possible damage" and refusing to check the room after I checked out (while I was still present). I was told they would only check after I had left and then assess any damage fees. Very shady practice.

Eat check in and check out. Doors to the interior required key for entry. Was able to park right outside the front doors in the first parking space under the security cameras. In-n-out burgers right next to hotel. The staff was friendly. Free WiFi.

No breakfast included. Not altogether the cleanest facility. Some areas had a weird smell. My daughter pointed that out. Window curtains in the room wouldn’t close completely letting in light from outside that was on all night. There were some spots of dark mildew in the bathtub/shower. Shower curtain was on a curved rod and wouldn’t stay closed by the wall on either end leaving about a 1 foot gap on each end.
