Poorly maintained, smelly bathroom, very noisy at night from a nearby nightclub

Very comfortable with helpful staff. Impressive historic property in the old part of town. Short walk to the centre. Lots of restaurants nearby. Great location.

Nothing negative about the stay.

The price was ok and the reception staff were friendly and helpful.

My room was directly next to reception. Very strange to hear all the conversations of people checking in whilst lying in bed. Bathroom wasn’t great, things hanging off the walls, ceiling plaster and paint falling off.

Accommodated a very late booking (we discovered on arrival in Catania that our original hotel had cancelled our booking) and receptionist was very helpful. Amazing ceilings.

A little tired

Location was perfect -- right in the center of Catania. The Hotel is an old building but I had an enourmous room with a ceiling that must be 15 feet high! Air con was excellent as were the facilities. Room had a balcony overlooking the square. A huge number of open air street restaurants near by.

The stairs -- there was no lift.
