Loved the unique and comfortable furnishings, breakfasts were great and host very hospitable.

Es war wieder super im Designer Cottage. Waren schon mal vom 6.-11.05.26 da. Es war wie heimkommen. Steve ist ein toller Gastgeber. Mussten früh wieder los wegen Weiterflug. Hat uns Obst und Joghurt hingestellt, Kaffee konnten wir auch noch machen. Alles super sauber. Jederzeit wieder.

I had a wonderful stay at Designer Cottage. The place is absolutely charming, very cosy and full of character. The breakfast was excellent, and everything made me feel comfortable and at home from the very first moment. But what really made the experience special were the hosts, Chet and Steve. They are incredibly kind and welcoming, and I truly enjoyed our conversations so much. I would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Christchurch .

I like everything

We had a wonderful stay. The host was very thoughtful and prepared fried udon for breakfast (seeing that we are Malaysians and probably miss Asian food). We loved the fantastic tour of their incredible garden. Learned so much about local fruits & flowers. Thank you! Will definitely recommend family and friends to stay here.

Ist ein lieb eingerichtetes Cottage, sehr sauber, zentral gelegen. Super Frühstück in einem ganz toll gestalteten Raum. Inhaber Steve gab super Tipps, war sehr hilfsbereit.

The friendly service put this B&B above the rest. They where extremely friendly and did all they could to make my stay enjoyable. The facilities are very clean and comfortable with a older world charm.

For a$206 one night in apartment #2 it was a gross rip off. Right from the start everything was wrong. The instructions were not sequentially successful . No code for entry was provided by txt or otherwise. The host went out for that nights rugby game . There was no information to go to the front door to pick up the code stuck to the front door. The video instruction showed to go direct to the driveway entry where the coded door was . Then the code stuck to the front door based upon my mobile phone digits did not work. Plain disaster. The room mattress was depressed and noisy. The room barely fitted the bed . The bathroom was do small that you could not wash your hands immersed in the small sink.
