Euro Inn & Suites of Slidell

The location and price were good for our travel needs.

The room and overall facility were very worn looking and could use a fresh coat of paint and some overall updates, especially in the room furniture. Also, at checkout time the office was empty and the main floor near the lobby smelled strongly of marijuana smoke.

Stayed here many times for work only issue I have is the beds are not big enough in the double rooms

Great simple and comfortable motel. Very clean and well maintained. Close to Walmarts.

Clean and nice staff.

First off, we couldn’t verify the property was pet friendly from the website, but we could’ve called before booking. So that’s on us. But we were frustrated because we were told by the leader at the desk if we call Expedia they would cancel our reservation and the hotel would approve the refund. We canceled but they did not refund. Regardless of the pet policy, upon pulling into the parking lot, we were already prepared to go somewhere else. It’s sketchy there. There was what looked like some kind of parking lot party happening. A lot of questionable people and questionable activity in the parking lot, many who seemed to be living there, rather than just staying a night or two. We did not stay the night, but from what we saw, the parking lot was gross, the lobby didn’t look clean, there was a smell. The photos online make it look relatively clean and nice, but it’s a catfish motel. Look at the many recent 1 star google reviews. Google earth street view will give you a better picture. It is a rough motel in a bad area of town.

The sheets were stained, I hope 🤞they were washed and clean. The bedroom had cigarette odor that I had to hide with my febreze. I have paid a lot less for better accommodation.
