"great place to go often when in Italy and Rome"

10.0

Great location, great architecture, great friendly staff, great gastronomy within the hotel; cannot ask for more for comforts in a Mid Century design. Staff are efficient and friendly, hotel spaces are enjoyable to experience, and also surrounding countryside. Dinners are a gastronomic experience, both for the tongue and for the eyes. Owner and chef greets during dinner. Memorable and astounding fresh breakfast too. Spa is great to enjoy. We went for the winter months, and we loved the ambiance. Summer should be another experience.

"Nec plus ultra !!!!"

10.0

Stayed for four nights in this great place. Modern minimal architecture in a bucolic landscape is the first thing you see at your arrival. It may look cold from the outside. However once you enter the premises you wil be overwhelmed by how "cosy" modern design can be. The rooms are extremely well conceived with a spacious bathroom and direct access to the garden and pool area. The gastronomic restaurant and the bistrot offer such tasteful and Creative dishes that have made our whole stay unforgettable.!!! we'll be back!!

"Loved it!"

10.0

I thought I didn't like 'modern' but I loved it here. I loved the contrast of the big concrete building sitting on the green grass beside a plowed field and a vegetable garden with board walks running through, and the lawn speckled with small groupings of furniture. I loved the huge rooms that make up the hotel - very comfortable and aesthetically pleasing. There are little places to sit and relax in front of a wood burning fireplace or looking out a massive floor to ceiling window. The doors are all massive and take a bit to figure out - the staff are very helpful with these. Overall the staff are fabulous, friendly and helpful. Our room was gorgeous, comfortable and large. It had a huge floor to ceiling window (with black out blind and sheers) and a private door to outside. The bathroom was HUGE and was probably the best hotel bathroom I've ever had the pleasure to spend 3 days and nights - sweet joy and with good toiletries, too. The linens and towels are superb quality, the bed so comfortable. They give nice terry bathrobes to borrow and spa slippers to keep. The spa areas are dark which at first I didn't like but then found it to be very relaxing and quiet so I see why they do it. We had no-charge access to the indoor warm pool, hamman wet sauna, a very hot dry sauna, a few fancy shower stalls and relaxing areas with hot tea selection. There was also a roof top outdoor pool (not heated). There was evening room service for fresh towels and glasses. One chilly evening they built us a fire in the lobby room even though we were the only guests - it was lovely. The breakfast was wonderful; a lovely Italian buffet with style. We ate dinner in the restaurant one evening and had the tasting menu one day at lunch; both were wonderful, highly recommended (see separate review). Few negatives: No toiletries replacement during our 3 night stay, a bit dark in areas, could have been given more information upon check-in (i.e.: what common areas we can use, what outdoor areas are available, just little things like that). The room window was covered in condensation each morning which dripped down and puddled on the floor sill - a problematic design flaw. The check out staff were very pleasant except they had a connection issue with the credit card machine but thought it was a problem with my credit card causing me to unnecessarily phone my credit card company in North America when there was no issue with my card at all. Overall we loved it - we were sorry to leave.

"Nice get away hotel just outside Rome."

10.0

This hotel is a nice get away hotel. I chose this hotel as a stay over after my flight to rome. Rooftop pool is very nice. The restaurant is very very small portion and pricy. Eat somewhere else if you are hungry.

"Total relax in an original, yet classic style"

10.0

Advertises as a 5 stars Resort. And it delivers in full. An eccentric yet super luxurious construction that would perfectly be at ease in a Scandinavian country, placed in the middle of sweet countryside just 20 minutes from the buzz of Rome. The architectural masterpiece is to be appreciated on a long weekend, alternating large spaces scattered with vintage Nordic design furniture, 12 rooms, a well conceived spa, and a pool on rooftop. In the heart of the building a Michelin * restaurant with flawless service awaits. Breakfast is top-notch. Planning a 10 days' holiday in Rome? Spend a couple here.

"6 star service in a 5 star resort."

10.0

I have to say that my entire stay in this resort has been excellent. Can not fault any of it. From the moment they picked us up from the train station the service was second to none. Dinner in the Michelin star restaurant is well worth it. The food was excellent as would be expected. The venue itself is stunning. The modern rooms are so comfortable and the views looking out to the countryside are fantastic. I also booked in to have a massage and came out feeling a million dollars. Special mention to Ivana who worked magic on my back. She was amazing. I felt so relaxed staying there. The indoor pool is also worth doing. I believe the water is from a spring and it's the perfect temptarature at 36 degrees. They also have bikes which you can take out. I will definitely come back, even if just to use the day spa. I found all the staff to be so friendly.

"Great, relaxing place to hang out"

10.0

Stayed here for 3 nights on a special rate. As others said, it is modern, a bit industrial and minimalist, and there is no signage to tell you where to go. Rooms are large and have a beautiful bathroom. Well-arranged. Courtesy minibar is restocked daily with nice drinks. Only comment is that single pane glass (windows are huge) is thus not insulated and the blackout blind causes a lot of condensation which floods the floor near the window. Couldn't find the staff more helpful and willing to please (maybe just a little bit too much). Very satisfied with the service. Breakfast buffet is delicious. Pretty much all cold food as is Italian style but excellent quality and lots of fresh baking. We were the only guests midweek but they still arranged a nice little spread for breakfast. The spa facilities are nice. Loved the mineral pool which doesn't dry out your skin, wet and dry saunas and ice dumps and aromatic showers. Outdoor pool is very interesting. Totally black but I still swam in November. No qualms about returning if I found myself in Rome. p.s autostrada noise isn't an issue
