The 3 Explorers Motel

Shower head was broken. They came to fix it within 10 mins even though it was already pass 10pm. Kudos for service!

Contactless check in, gopd communications. Close to 3 Sisters Hike. Will stay again.

The room was ready earlier than check-in time. Access to our 2nd level room was via exterior stairs. We were unable to get an Uber or a taxi from the site, so we used the Explorer bus, which we caught at Echo Point, several blocks away, to get our luggage to and from the train station.

This motel was very hard to fault. Perfect location, clean and tidy room, comfortable beds and all the extras you need for a few days to a week stay. We stayed for 5 nights. The cost was more than reasonable at $118 per night for a twin share. One of the best things, was a bus stop almost out the front. Frequent service into town, so no worries about parking and having a few drinks!!

The self check in went well and Joseph the manager on the speaker phone was helpful and lovely

Very Nice Property. Clean, comfortable and a pleasant environment. Walking Distance to the three sisters. And a nice walk to the RSL for Dinner.

3 Explorers Motel is our preferred stay in Katoomba .... and have stayed many times. You will note COUNCIL PAID PARKING everywhere .... but just park your car in 3 Explorers for FREE.... and walk down to 3 Sisters ... or round to Scenic World ... or up to RSL, Canton Palace, Carrington Hotel et all. Local Bus stop right out front ... great if you walk cliff top walk to Leura .... and catch train then bus back. 3 Explorers Motel rooms nice and cosy ... including Heated Bed warmers and great A/C heating. Hot shower with great pressure. Big TICK from us .... again !!!

This is a convenient place for quick stays and price was very reasonable. Room was small but all necessities were there.

Seamless check in with an extremely informative host in Joseph. Great location. Beautiful linen and comfy bed.
