Micro Boutique Living Antigonish

We got there and found out that our reservation had been cancelled in September ‘24. Another family had the same issue on the same day as us. Just awful!!

Apparently booking canceled the booking even though I got confirmation up to the day of May 4. My daughter’s university graduation was the next day with no place to stay!!! Don’t trust booking.com or this property.

The reservation was accepted during a time they don’t do reservations. They later contacted me that it wasn’t available, by that time everything in antigonish was booked up for the event of x ring ceremony. So I had no where to stay.

The location was good.

NO parking on site, despite being told there was. We spent a lot of time looking for it to no avail. Phoned the number provided, got a machine, left a message to call me back. Despite them saying the office would be open till 6 - and I phoned before 5 - I never heard back. Had to park two blocks away. Balcony supposedly equipped with patio furniture was completely bare, not a stick of furniture. False advertising x 2. Being on the third floor with no elevator was no fun either.

Nice clean room

Room darkening shades would be a plus the room felt as if a light was on all night. Should invest in a good quality mattress. Parking apparently is an issue for travelers. The landlord could try making arrangements for parking passes at nearby lots. The large refrigerator took up much needed sitting space

To many stairs for seniors

The bed was comfy.

No parking. What a mess. They send a text message saying we can park behind the building. That parking is for residents only not short term rentals. Then, they sent me a text me the address for the fire station saying we can park there. Then they said park across the street from the fire station which is posted “no overnight parking”. Fireman suggests we will get towed but property customer service says it’s never been a problem. You can park on St. Mary’s street but no spaces available. We got written permission to park at a local business after two hours trying to find spaces. There are no property employees there to help. It is all done with text messages and very poor customer service.

Great location and great price and very clean and had everything needed

It was somewhat hard to find rooms and I find the check in a bit late also requested a bit earlier check in when booked and wasn’t told it couldn’t be done said to call the morning we were arriving so we did and were told they were not sure if they could do it and would text if they could and didn’t hear a thing. Wanted early check in as was going to a wedding and wanted to freshen up as the wedding started at 4 and we were travelling from out of town. We had to leave the wedding reception to go to check in and the missed some of the events in doing so.
