"Okay for a couple of nights"

The staff member who coked the breakfast was a delight and very helpful.

I had scrambled eggs, which were edible but I felt it was an egg mix rather than freshly cooked eggs.

"Little gem of a hotel"

We found this hotel purely by accident as we needed a very quick overnight stay near Bacton. What a lovely place. Rooms super clean and very comfy, staff couldn’t be friendlier and more helpful. We didn’t eat there which is a real shame because the food looked fab!

Comfortable bed, well appointed bar. Location suited our purpose well. Plenty of off road parking space.

The bathroom was poor. Fittings were a bit old-fashioned. The shower screen was partially disconnected and it was not possible to close it completely. This led to water splashing all over the floor. The light was operated by a pull code and the handle was missing. The cord had been loop knotted and was very discoloured. Corridors to rooms were somewhat poorly lit and felt grubby.
