Pier Head Hotel Spa & Leisure

The hotel is overlooking the huge bay and you are looking directly at Donegal. If you pre book a room on the huge balcony, the views are exceptional. The dining room view is beyond belief. the food is great and the service too. we have stayed there many times and intend going back soon.

Great location with a very good room and very friendly staff - good breakfast but dinner wasn’t great.

One of the main courses (mussels) was very poor and no comment from the waitress who collected the uneaten dish (or can asked how it was). Other dish was fine.

Setting was lovely

But more atmosphere and the only place in Ireland we stayed that didn’t have entertainment

Il est vrai que nous avons séjourné dans cet hôtel un samedi soir, beaucoup de bruits de musique jusqu'à minuit. Bruits également à l'extérieur jusqu'à2 heuresdu matin, bar juste en dessous de notre chambre. Il faudrait peut-être envisager de refaire l'isolation phonique au niveau des fenêtres.
