"Exceptional"

I was given a room on the 6th floor facing the shops etc and loved the stay and the enviroment. If ever i come down to malacca i will definately stay i hotel areena.

Air condition are not functioning in proper order and the room is too hot. The room is not proper clean. And while taking bath, the faucet is spoil and couldn't control the water temperature.

The room is very clean and the amenities are well-thought of. For example, a part of the wall linking the bedroom and toilet is made opaque so that if you turn off all the lights in the bedroom and still leave the lights in the toilet on, you can see. This is especially good for travellers who tend to sleep with the toilet lights left on.

"Just for a one night stay"

Small room. Maintenance was not up to date. Bathroom was not that clean. Room was warm, AC was not good enough to cool the room fast. AC needed some servicing. Staff was very friendly. Parking in front of the hotel is only available on first come first basis. Otherwise need to park on the opposite car park which required to make a big turn since the road in front of the hotel is a one way lane.

"Reasonably priced hotel but thin walls"

Thin walls making it a little uncomfortable as you can hear what is going on in the next room and in the walk way. Clearly audible when people walk in and out of the rooms or do things in their rooms.
