"Good"

I will never stay at, or recommend, this hotel to anyone. The room was dark and not cleaned properly. The neighborhood is terrible in the evenings, and there are no onsite parking facilities and few nearby restaurants after business hours. If you don't have an available car, this is a useless place to stay.

When I checked in and went to room 205, it was a small, dark room with a window looking out onto the bottom of the tiny "courtyard" with windows on all sides. When I went back and asked if there were any rooms available looking out, I was pleasantly surprised to be given room 203 instead - a bigger, nicer room with a bigger bed and windows with a view looking north, for the same price. What fantastic customer service! All of the folks at the front desk were very nice and pleasant as well.

"Good location in downtown Buffalo."

Historic hotel in pleasant downtown location. Very large room. Wifi worked. Comfortable.

Bathroom is oddly designed and could use towel racks. Lack of parking is a minus.

The bathroom had mold all in the shower. There was also mold in the coffee package when we opened it up. Not as clean as we would have liked it to be.

Older poorly updated property. Not worth the money we paid. The room was spacious but the walls were super thin. We heard everyone and everything outside our room.

"Great hotel, perfect location "

The Lafayette Hotel was absolutely gorgeous, proudly displaying its art-deco era style. The room was clean, the beds comfortable. This hotel is close to everything in downtown Buffalo. The only issue I had was the overpowering air fresheners being pumped into the hallways. It was just too much.

"Creepy not inviting and smelly"

This hotel is awful- creepy and not a good vibe at all . Almost 330.00 for 1 night and the room smelled. We were put in a handicap room, not sure why, but ok whatever that wasn’t the issue. Just not a welcoming feeling . Reminded me of Hotel on Amazon Horror Story!

The room was dirty, light fixtures weren’t working. Light bulbs were out. Shower floor tile was broken and missing. I was told there was parking and a business centre. There was none. I won’t be staying with them or Wyndham again.
