Hotel Penzinghof

I thought the staff were very lovely and accommodating. The location is also great as it's out of the main city center but not hard to get to. The dinner buffet was also very reasonably priced.

The original room we were in was extremely loud. There were kids running around in the hallways which echoed through our room as it was in a stairwell. The outdoor pool was also cold and not very heated. The sofa bed was extremely uncomfortable and held up by cushions so we were lucky to be able to move rooms.

Unique hotel with exceptional accommodations, quality of food and pool/spa areas, and fantastic Alpine views. Hotel is also conveniently located to some nearby towns for day trips.

The family run operation was delightful. They were helpful and provided excellent local knowledge. The restaurant provided excellent quality and value for money. The spa, sauna are pool excellent features and very well maintained (although some guests did not adhere to hygiene policy and wore textiles in the sauna - recommend that staff enforce this requirement). The sauna gaus was a delightful surprise on Saturday night!

It was a little distant from the main ski resort of kitzbhuel, and alternative eating options (although eating in is a great option) but serviced by train and bus. Recommend a car if staying here. Our room was a little tired in the “old” part of the hotel but there is a modern new section also.
