Avebury Life

Location for the Avebury Circle was perfect. Short walks to the village, also short drive to National Trust car park. Antoinette, the Host, is friendly and helpful with information. We had a good breakfast each morning. Facilities in the breakfast room to make an early morning cup of tea/coffee and also when we returned of an evening. Hot Water for showers. Quiet and peaceful atmosphere....calms the spirit ready to visit the ancient sites around.

Cannot think of a negative aspect.

Delicious vegetarian breakfast is probably the highlight of the stay. Definitely recommend!

Breakfast was different. We had mixed fruits with carmel yoghurt and Stir fried vegetables . Coffee and toast of course About 20 minutes walk across the fields to Avebury

Good location, friendly host. Great breakfast. Did struggle a little with the water heater in shower, but not enough to need to ask for instruction.

Second time staying at this property. Room was clean, bed comfortable and a marvelous breakfast was provided by the owner. The property has a relaxing atmosphere and is well maintained. Walking distance (by footpath) to the National Trust Heritage Site of Avebury. The area has a rich history back to Neolithic times. The owner of the property is very knowledgeable to the area history and folklore. She is an excellent resource to assist guests get the most of the Avebury experience.
