The Flying Fish Stables

Very comfortable bed - had an excellent sleep! Good bathroom facilities and lovely outdoor area for our little one to run around. The food was good and staff were lovely. A metal folding camp bed was provided for our little boy although unfortunately he is too small but he was ok sleeping with us as the bed was huge!

Quite a few cobwebs on the bathroom ceiling but didn’t impact our stay.

What did we like? The warm welcome, the great food, especially the Caribbean options on offer. And the room was clean and pretty big, the bed huge and comfortable. Oh, and the view from the large beer garden is stunning.

Not so much what we didn't like, as it was mid heatwave, but not having Aircon meant it got a little too warm overnight. But the fan that was already in the room helped to take the edge off.

Kate and Buddy were terrific host, well run establishment with very good restaurant food. Lovely breakfast fantastic views. The stable rooms were clean, comfortable and quiet. Overall a very pleasant stay, will certainly try to re visit.

Nous avons reçu un très bon accueil mais ce que nous avons apprécié par-dessus tout c'est la qualité des lits, grands, neufs et confortables. Nous étions 4 voitures et nous avons également apprécié la possibilité de se garer sans difficulté.

Nous avons pris le plat du jour au dîner mais tout était si épicé que certains d'entre nous n'ont pratiquement rien mangé. Il serait judicieux d'informer les clients ou de mettre la sauce épicée dans un récipient à part.

The menu selection is excellent, the food was very good quality and the service good. This is a very local and out of the way place and the quality of food met expectations.
