Room was very comfortable and clean. The cooked breakfast was very good. The dinners were satisfactory

The buffet at breakfast was not adequate. One day there was only toast, cereal and yogurt . The dinner menu was limited in choice . There were no specials for main course. One day because of curry evening the choice was even more limited. One evening we had to wait a long time for any food.

The bedroom was beautifully presented. Bathroom amenities were excellent. Plenty of car parking. The dining room was lovely and the food excellent. Staff were exceptional. We can’t speak highly enough of this hotel.

The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Food and wine both very good.

We paid so much for our rooms (through booking.com) that it did not feel like good value for money. We paid approximately £100 more for one night than other guests.
