GBGBEasy reach of the town centre. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean.
There was no breakfast available which was not make clear at the time of booking. We were first of all assigned room 1 which had a bed and surface for a desk and a very small ensuite so we asked to be moved. We were given room 5 which was a better size. However, nowhere to put your clothes etc except for a hanging arrangement where you could put some of them. The bathroom basin was tiny with a glass shelf over which made it very difficult to clean teeth and wash. There was no hairdryer but fortunately I always carry mine with me just in case. The room was not serviced (we were there for 2 nights). The archway to the parking area is very narrow so it is necessary to fold in wing mirrors and go carefully.

Lack of space to put clothes, bed was rickety and made a noise every time we turned over. No biscuits to have with our tea. Restaurant tables were dirty and we had to ask for them to be cleaned which was done but the floor was left messy all day.

Toilet hadn’t been cleaned in our room. Closer on fire door in corridor broke, not great when fire alarm went off. Obvious noise from mice/other in roof space above room.
GBGBRoom was clean and had all the facilities we needed check in was easy and smooth, liked that there were plugs for our phone chargers both sides
The radiator in the bathroom is so so hot it burnt my partner when he leant on it accidently and by burnt he was left with red blisters on his back. Also the extractor fan for the bathroom is above the door ( i couldnt reach it) and its not clear that it should be switche on - the steam from the shower cased the smoke alarms to go off in the whole building - this really shouldnt happen if there was a switch with a note saying to turn it on it would make a big difference (and maybe a foot stool to reach it for the shorter people in the world!

Parking on site was difficult and parking around town was challenging. No Elevator.
