The Wheatsheaf Inn

Lovely location on the outskirts of Cuckfield, small friendly pub with great food. Room was simple but had everything I needed for an overnight stay.

The room was adjacent to some sort of pump room, there was what sounded like a tumble dryer going off for hours on end, which really disrupted my sleep.

It was just what I needed , value for money ,great food and good location as needed to get into Brighton by train to do the Brighton marathon.

Location was great for my purpose of staying. Clean, tidy room with good linen and towels. Very helpful and kind staff. Breakfast was great and cooked fresh.

Access to the bedroom with a suitcase was not easy but the staff offered to help. The night I stayed there was a very noisy family staying in the adjacent room. They talked loudly into the early hours, had the TV on until the early hours and their dog ( not the dogs fault ) kept barking. Not very helpful when I have just had a very long day travelling and the same the next day.

Location was good

Mattress on the bed needs to be replaced but that was it. Everything else in the room was nice

The pub wasn’t overly loud when we went to bed… customers seem respectful. Very clean and cutesy almost. Gorgeous inside. Amazing staff. Couldn’t do more.

The lack of colour. Needs like a bit vibrant colours maybe.
