"Excellent short stay for two discenring travellers,"

Hosts were lovely and most helpful - loved their dog Daisy The breakfast choice was amazing. Good choice of cereal, toast, cooked items, homemade marmalade, coffee etc The beds were most comfortable and we slept like logs. Parking outside was easy and there was no external sounds The shower was good,

The bathroom was a trifle small for large people especially for one who was disabled. No grab rails. It would have been nice to have a hook on the back of the door We couldn't open the double glazing to get air for the night - tho the electric fan was a useful touch and helped cool us down

I stayed in a lovely, clean , comfortable room which was peaceful and quiet. I was made to feel very welcome and enjoyed my breakfast.

"Very warm welcome, good communication before hand, fresh milk, very helpful couple."

Located in centre of Moffat. We had a really warm welcome with homemade millionaires shortbread and a cup of tea . We were given a flask of fresh milk for the morning cuppa which makes such a difference. Perfect poached eggs with breakfast, that’s rare. Plenty of free parking nearby on the street.

Location ideal as a break in a long journey. Very comfortable, all facilities we needed and a marvellous breakfast. Lovely meal at the famous Star Hotel in Moffat as well.

Large comfortable room, nice and quiet, direct access to an outer door which was great for the dog. Great breakfast, friendly owners, v central.

No private parking but knew this before I booked and free parking easily available nearby so not a big problem...
