"Lovely stop over on our way further north."

Very friendly owners. Tea and cake on arrival, which wasn't expected but very much appreciated. Very clean room and shower room, everything we needed. Lovely breakfast and plenty of tea!

"The location is excellent and we enjoyed our stay."

Mark and Dawn were a lovely, friendly couple greeted us with a cup of tea or coffee and 2 lovely cakes. The room was very clean and cosy with a comfortable double bed. Two breakfasts were excellent. The location is good too.

"Superb"

There was an excellent home cooked breakfast in the morning with many options to choose from. The owners were very welcoming to our dog and the room we stayed in was very dog friendly, with a dog bed provided and a back door so we could take the dog out without having to walk through the rest of the property. Lots of nice touches and some cake on arrival! The location is perfect for anyone wanting a stopover on their way north or south. I've already recommended it to several friends!

We had a wonderful stay at this charming B&B! While the facilities are simple, the hosts truly go above and beyond to make guests feel welcome and comfortable. Their warmth, attentiveness, and personal touches more than makeup for minor shortcomings, creating a genuinely cosy and memorable experience. It is highly recommended for anyone who values excellent hospitality!

Our stay at this B&B was pleasant, with friendly hosts and a cosy atmosphere. However, a few updates would make it even better. Some light decorative improvements could refresh the rooms, and a heater in the bathroom would add comfort on colder mornings. Additionally, an upgrade to the refreshment facilities, like offering a more expansive tea and coffee selection or fresh milk, would enhance the experience. Overall, it is an excellent place to stay, with a few small improvements that would make it even more welcoming.
