Hotel Restaurant Le Centenaire

We were the only guests in the hotel on our first night returning at 10 pm everything was in total darkness We used our torch to find our room. Our room was not serviced while we were there.It was a big room but lacked any character.No full length mirror. Breakfast was shocking Cold coffee stale bread and a pear chopped up as a fruit salad Scrambled egg in a pool of liquid and cold We were expecting something special for the price we paid as it was the celebration Of daughter's wedding. We considered moving after one night but we didn't want any more stress at this point. Certainly not a four star experience

Location was great, all the staff were the best. Food was well prepared and the property and room were nice, very 4-star.

The air-conditioning was not very good. We had a fairly big room and the AC simply could not get below about 21C or perhaps 22C. It was a hot day, but the AC is still a concern. Also, we were on the 3rd floor and there was no elevator. They helped bring our bags up, but not down.

Well located with a private parking. Impeccable service and warm welcome. Excellent dinner and service worth a future Michelin star. Lovely pool.

Although the breakfast is very good, it is too expensive.

Staying at Hotel Centenaire felt like stepping into a little slice of heaven. From the moment we arrived, everything was exceptional — the service, the food, and the overall atmosphere were all truly outstanding. Each morning, I woke up to the sound of birds singing, which made the experience feel dreamlike. I haven’t slept that well in a long time. What truly made the stay special, though, was the staff. Everyone was genuinely kind, attentive, and caring, creating a warm and welcoming environment that made us feel completely at home. This is the kind of place you don’t just stay at - you experience it, and it stays with you long after you leave.
