We had a wonderful 3 night stay at Hotel Restaurant La Centenaire. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, the rooms were lovely and comfortable, the food was delicious. Owned and operated by a young couple, Chloe and Mathieu Métifet, they have been updating and reimagining the traditional hotel. Mathieu is the chef of the two wonderful hotel restaurants and Chloe manages the wonderful staff (special shout outs to Zoe, Perrine and Virginia). The hotel uses locally made soaps and shampoos. Julie gives great massages. The hotel is conveniently located for exploring the Dordogne, including cave art at Lascaux, Font de Gaume, Les Combarelles and Abri Cap Blanc and the castles along the Dordogne River.

We had a lovely stay. Our room was great and the staff, especially the afternoon reception clerk was wonderful. Not only did she acclimate us to the hotel, she helped carry our bags, and she helped plan the things we did while we were in the area. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant which was super. Highly recommend!

La qualité de la cuisine , le personnel tres à l'écoute. La situation géographique. Literie au top. Petits déjeuner excellent. Tout fait maison .

Le simple vitrage ..

Chloe and Matt the owners were incredible. We upgraded to a room with a sauna. Matt is an amazing Chef and should get a Michelin star. ⭐ the dinner was better than Michelin restaurants we dined at in Barcelona or Carcassonne The staff Delphine and Angeliq were fabulous. Great location for exploring on foot Les Eyzies
